About Me

 SJ Meares lives in a tiny town in Missouri with her common-law husband, their four amazing daughters, and multiple fur and feather babies. She’s a stay-at-home mom and does her best to spread CDKL5 awareness for her third daughter, who was diagnosed around the age of 2. She began her New Adult writing journey on Wattpad, taking classes at Southern New Hampshire University Online, and has since gathered the courage to self-publish. SJ writes the kind of stories she enjoys reading and hopes to share that love with like-minded others.


When she’s not writing, she can be found reading, watching anime or drama TV, particularly medical, crime and paranormal. She’s also obsessed with competitive cooking shows but wouldn’t eat half the stuff they make. A book, Mountain Dew, and a Reese’s can almost always be found within reach. If you strike up a conversation with her, be prepared for the topic of books to come up because it will happen.
